Stubborn

Wow! She was stubborn last night.  Sigh.  Points about yesterday.

• Delivery drivers find it hard to talk to customers, EVEN TO ASK FOR AN ADDRESS!
• BREAKING NEWS: Stubborn woman decides to walk home from work and gets lost... -shocker-.  Then ends up taking a taxi home (which I told her to do in the first place) and then getting taken to the other side of the city, because the taxi man didn't understand her. -sigh-
• E-mailer services are bastards. Trying to debug one is worse.  Write debug messages to database?  Write debug messages to event log? bah!  You may try, but services say no.  (Or at least limits it)
• Writing revision notes while unhappy is a good way to forget about things.
• I need to get the digitizer fixed on my phone.  It is pissing me right off.
• Working in a takeaway is easy.
• I need to begin work on my new project
• I still don't know what I'm doing about her ring
• 1 more day and I give notice of marriage... 

p.s. A few hours sleep for a full day at work in the morning is not

a) a satisfactory motivation tool

b) likely to give you a lot of energy

c) leaves you surprisingly dry mouthed (yea, I know... WTF)

d) unable to have the senses available to enjoy the sunshine

Oh and she said yes

Even without a ring, she said yes... But also said she'd like a ring regardless.

Disappointment and light

This week, I really should be continuing this properly... But... other things I've learnt.

• Credit agencies don't like me

• Engagement Rings are damn expensive

• Bed Bugs are b*stards

• Computer bugs and issues are not much better

• Saturday is official "getting hitched" days

• She bled (that's somehow a good thing)

• Stress Stress Stress

• Selling stuff is hard

• Laptop > Desktop? (HINT: No)

• I've lost my head... on my charging cable

• WTF!? Did I just find a dead flea in my bed (SHIT!)

• Woop! Found a cream that stops the bites from itching

• God! My housemate really loves Fried Chicken! (Like really!)

8th May 2012 Epilogue

Summary of things discovered on the 8th:

• Amazon S3 is stupidly easy to work with (It's easiness is offset by how long it takes to upload 5-6mb files)
• There are actually good Amarican war films!  (Although the guy from the hurt locker is an absolute bastard)
• Cooking is more fun when there are 2 crazy people in charge of a cupboard cooking hotpot (Teabag in your curry, anyone?)
• Little kids are afraid of me...
• Girlfriend has a undeniable love of cadbury's chocolate
• The day after an American Football match is not a good day to be riding a bicycle in busy traffic(especially after 6 months of pure unadultered laziness)
• H brought bread and Chicken Tikka o.O?
• S cannot fit my bike into his car (the wheels are too big, we've tried)
• Chilling > Drinking
• Jacksons Sainbury's Sandwiches selection suck
